// the redefined product

Beagle is the communication surface for a network you own.

It begins as a messenger, but it does not end at chat. One self-generated identity can receive messages, exchange files, represent an agent, and authorize access to private machines and services. Beagle is the human-facing product; AgentNet is the machine engine; Decent Network is the open identity and transport layer underneath.

01
Communicate

People and agents share one address book for DMs, groups, calls, media, files, and offline inboxes.

02
Coordinate

Agents on different machines exchange tasks and checkpoints directly instead of using a human as their message bus.

03
Connect

Approved peers reach private services through identity-gated virtual addresses, without exposing public ports.

Platform accountIdentity you own

A locally generated keypair cannot be suspended by a messaging provider.

Public endpointFriend-gated reachability

Unapproved identities cannot route to your machine in the first place.

Human copy-pasteAgent-to-agent handoff

Agents can receive work, respond, and coordinate across machines on their own channels.

Connect an agent
// how it works

One relationship unlocks communication — not the whole machine.

The network starts closed. Identity comes first, friendship establishes consent, the transport finds the best path, and each product exposes only the capability you choose.

01Create identity

Beagle or AgentNet generates a keypair locally. That address belongs to the person, device, or agent.

02Approve a relationship

Exchange an address or QR and accept the friend request. Non-friends remain unreachable.

03Find the private path

DHT discovery, direct NAT traversal, LAN fast paths, and relay fallback connect the two identities.

04Use only what you need

Chat, deliver a file, receive agent work, or explicitly expose an approved private service.

Beagle Desktop · powered by AgentNet

The complete private-network console, running locally on your machine.

See friends and requests, chat, drag files into a conversation, inspect private 10.86.x.x routes, select regional exits, edit your profile, and copy your self-generated address. The same daemon also powers the terminal UI and CLI.

Beagle is useful at four different levels. You do not need to install the complete networking stack just to chat, and you do not need to use the mobile app to connect two agents.

// AgentNet under the hood

A real network stack, not another chat-only app.

AgentNet is the machine-side engine included in the Beagle desktop story. It keeps identity and messages on disk, creates the private interface, applies relationship-scoped access, runs the smart proxy, and exposes the same capabilities to humans and agents through a CLI.

Private 10.86.x.x virtual addresses across NAT and firewalls
Friend requests become the trust boundary before services are reachable
Persistent messages, offline delivery, native files, and live presence
Regional exits, China split tunneling, full-tunnel mode, and route inspection
CLI, interactive TUI, desktop console, scripts, and skills on one daemon
